The handicrafts store and gallery in the centre of the City of Stockholm is an opportunity to see utensils and exclusive objects d`art from 160 craftsmen in one and the same place. 
In the gallery on Södermalmstorg, several separate exhibitions and some  joint ones take place each year.

The store, which is on street level, offers original works from the workshops and studios of craftsmen. Glass, sculptures, ceramics, wallhangings, clothing, jewellery, silver, wood and leather: there`s something to suit every taste here.

Konsthantverkarna was formed in 1951 and is now the oldest, and biggest, co-operative of proffessional craftsmen in Sweden.

Each member represents good quality and new ways of thinking, and almost all of them have undergone four to six years of training at the School of Arts, Crafts and Design or similar.
